Hey! I’m Freya, a writer and journalist based in London. My work has appeared in The New Statesman, Metro, and Business Insider, and I’ve made social media content for The Telegraph and The Know.

I run a Substack called Earthworm, a weeklyish newsletter about culture, books, and life in the modern world.

I studied English Literature at the University of Oxford and then did a Masters in Interactive Journalism at City, University of London. I was runner up in the The Guardian Foundation’s 2023 Hugo Young Award for my essay on public transport in rural areas.
